yellowtaxivan acknowledge that there is a necessity to set out in black and white what is and isn't acceptable. we will put our terms and conditions simply, in language that we can all understand.
1. we will treat our customers and their belongings with respect at all times. we request that this respect is reciprocated.
2. should the loading and unloading time exceed that which is booked further time will be charged at 75 pence per minute.
3. our vehicles are comprehensively insured for hire and reward.
4. goods in transit insurance is not included in the price, customers should therefore request prices at the time of booking or take out their own goods in transit insurance.
5. two passengers are allowed to travel in our vans.
6. yellowtaxivan will endeavor to arrive within the booked time slot, however unforeseen delays will invariably happen from time to time. we will inform you if we are encountering such delays and give you an expected time of arrival.
7. payment should be made in cash to the driver on completion of the job, payment can also be transferred directly into our bank account but must be received at least 3 working days before the job, details on request.
8. any stops en route, for example to pick up keys or withdrawal money from an ATM outside the agreed advanced booking will be charged at the rate of £10 per stop.
9. most man with a van companies will pass on any parking fines to you. We don't. However this will mean we always endeavor to work within the confines of the law. Should the customer insist, say, on parking illegally, we will ask for the full amount of fine to be paid immediately. This will be returned should we not receive a "notice to owner" fine within 30 days.
10. the price you receive on the telephone from us is based on the details you have given. When the driver arrives at pick-up and it is a very different job, say we've quoted for moving 15 boxes and arrival there was 60, it is a very different job. We reserve the right to increase or decrease the amount charged.
11. we reserve the right to refuse to take any load that has been inaccurately specified or if the customer is not ready upon our arrival.
12. Any bookings made either on-line or on the telephone you agree to accept our terms and conditions.
